We welcome your interest in volunteering with Love Thy Neighbor.  Volunteering is a wonderful way to support our community and to further the ministry of serving those in crisis.  The Love Thy Neighbor is held the third Sunday of each month.

Please see the Volunteer Calendar for upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Who Can Volunteer

We welcome individuals, church groups, youth groups, and service groups.  We offer community service hours for students and court ordered service.

Time Commitment

Love Thy Neighbor asks that volunteers arrive between 12:00-12:15 and plan to stay until 4:30 (this is flexible) for the soup kitchen & food pantry.  We also have opportunities for volunteering between events, if the third Sunday does not work for you.

New Volunteers

Fill out the Volunteer Form before attending your first Love Thy Neighbor (LTN) event.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult but they may work with their parent or guardian.

Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend their first event to register them as a volunteer.

Completing the online Volunteer Form will enable us to match you to specific slot(s) for your participation, and answer any questions.
